This WHNT CBS started its work on 28th November 1963, which is Thanksgiving Day in Huntsville. From the very start, this channel affiliated with WHNT CBS television. It is the only depot in Huntsville which never changed its affiliation. Later, Grisham vends the terminus to The TLC Times Company in 1980. The transmitter remained in its place.
This was the only WHNT CBS channel in Huntsville which was broadcasting from the facility which constructed for this purpose.
