This depot started its work in 1985. It was the first independent station in Northern Alabama. The initial program which broadcasted on this WZDX in 1968, was Film Charly. When this WZDX FOX Huntsville started its work, it uses the slogan “We’re Taking You to the Top’. FOX News television station started its work on 6th October 1986. Like many other independent television stations in the city, this depot also quit itself from the affiliation of FOX.
